Why are our safety standards important to you?
Since we specialize in seismic and structural reconstruction, we often encounter situations with limited or difficult access. This requires us to go the extra mile to ensure the safety of our personnel as they work to increase the structural integrity of a building. Earplugs, safety glasses, and boots are standard, and on elevated construction areas, harnesses and other safety devices are mandatory

First, your physical safety matters to us. That is of foremost importance to us when we’re carrying out your building improvements. Best of intentions aside, however, we are living in a litigious society today, and regrettably, more and more people are looking for ways to enrich themselves by finding a deep pocket to take advantage of. The most effective way to minimize or eliminate becoming a target of this often-needless burden is to insist that risk management employs a safety-first attitude and focus. Our rigid standards and practices in this area of concern serve to protect you our client, and us as well.
Safety is more than just a buzzword… it’s about using the right techniques, equipment, and procedures during construction. It’s about using the right parts, materials, and planning. It also requires training and experience, where nothing is taken for granted. We even take it a step further by offering our employees incentives based on their safety records. People often say that “the devil is in the details,” and nothing could be truer concerning safety considerations. But in addition to all of these physical preparations, safety is also a state of mind. All too often, lack of awareness leads to shortcuts, which can result in all sorts of problems – but not at Saunders Construction.
Our record of extensive experience and attention to detail work to your advantage in protecting your real estate assets when they undergo structural repairs or seismic retrofit. We believe in doing the job right the first time, with safety as the primary consideration.
